Sandra Wallin

Sandra Wallin grew up in the rainforests of British Columbia, riding bareback through ancient cedars and mountain streams. There, in Nature's classroom, she was shown another way to listen and to learn, a way that's become the heart-stone of her equine-guided programs for nearly thirty years.

A lover of learning, Sandra has degrees in Science, Education, Counselling Psychology and is currently working toward a doctorate in Ecopsychology. Her professional journey has been a joyful one, with twenty-two years as a classroom teacher and counsellor and almost three decades as a psychotherapist. With an extensive background in consciousness studies, transformational psychology, the expressive arts and equine-guided learning, leadership and wellness, Sandra is a sought-after speaker and presenter. 

Sandra has worked with ‘power’ companies, including Microsoft, and helped students who have been bullied, become empowered. She has been invited to speak about the healing power of horses alongside the luminary Nobel laureate Candace Pert and pioneering scientist David Suzuki. Working closely with friend and mentor, Dr. Bruce Lipton, author of "The Biology of Belief," Sandra has been instrumental in delivering belief change programs at a local prison, teaching men serving life sentences how to liberate themselves from the confines of their limiting beliefs.

Sandra is the originator of the Quantum Leaps Summit. She was joined by a renowned group of authors and teachers, including Bruce Lipton, Lynn McTaggart, John Perkins, Richard Rudd and Manda Scott, for a series of powerful conversations designed to inspire and ignite quantum leaps in consciousness for personal and planetary evolution. 

Though she has worked and studied with many incredible people, Sandra says her most influential teachers have been horses. As a way to honour her equine mentors and their profoundly powerful gifts, she authored a chapter in "Horse as Teacher: The Path to Relationship," and received accolades for "Entangled In Grace: A Horse in the Recovery Room," a piece she contributed to The Transformational Author Experience. Now, with immense pleasure, she shares inspired counsel from The Council of Horses, to be released October 2024.

Today, Sandra walks more than rides with her horses through the ancient cedars growing on a little piece of heaven near Vancouver, Canada where she lives with her husband, two daughters, a feral cat and two hundred and twenty pounds of drooling mastiff. Her story is a testament to the power of dreams, the wisdom of nature, and the enduring grace and benevolence of horses.
